Coming to BC!

Hey all! Can you all help this California girl out? My family and I will be heading to your beautiful area to spend a few days both b4 and after our Alaskan cruise. We have a friend that recommended the SYLVIA hotel...we like NICE.. 150ish a night...(american) and will have our 2 kids with us. Also.. what should we JUST NOT MISS? Any help would be appreciated!
