Hi....question.....I am 4 weeks out and have lost 30 pounds. Last night I ate very small bites of pot roast and threw up. Not typical dumping right? Anyone know why? I took my time chewing and didn't rush. Also, anyone know why I can eat wheat bread but not white bread? Thanks!

Hi Louise~ No, that's not regular dumping. You probably are still early and will have to take your time with beef. Some people can tolerate it early and others need months to be able to eat it. I'd say just hold off another week or two and then try again. It also depends on how dry the meat is when you eat it. If it's in some kind of juice it usually makes it a little easier to eat. As for the bread, it's probably because of the wheat. Regular flour just sits in our stomaches. The simple carbs in the white bread can play havock on us. Stick to the wheat anyhow....it's so much more nutritionally healthy than the white. Hope this helps. MUAH!
