Everyone loves you!!!  Don't worry, it's early in the morning in some parts of the country when you posted.  There's been some periodic discussion over what probiotics people take & it seems that some work for some people & others work for others.  I think ideally that it should be one where it has a 50:50 blend of acidophyllus & bifid - something (I don't have a bottle in front of me!).  You should try to get one that guarantees # of organisms through expiration, not at time of packaging b/c, in my opinion, that's just a loop hole for those that aren't good quality & so the organisms die off fairly quickly (eg, before you get to take all the pills!)  I know that others disagree with me on this, but my naturopathic dr told me that optimally, the probiotic should be refrigerated in a brown glass bottle.  I would try to get one that has at least 15 billion organisms per pill, taking 1-2 pills twice daily - especially if on or just finished antibiotics.

I use Primal Defense Ultra probiotic.  I order it from Amazon and have it automatically shipped.

I wish there was a carb-blocker that worked...I doubt there is, but I can wish....

I use gut buddies, from the same company that makes devrom.  Doesn't need refrigeration and works well for me.

Carb blocker?  No clue, although I would be interested LOL..  I am a carb addict and I admit it!!!

I saw some carb blockers at Wal-Mart, and it got me thinking, I'm sure it's a hoax like all the other magic diet pills out there, but i thought i'd ask!

I think i might try gut buddies just because i like the name!

I got the DS so I wouldn't need to fall victim to anymore snake oil salesmen.  Enjoy a little something decadent everyday, but be mindful not to go butt-wild.  This isn't about deprivation.

Ahh Val, you are always the voice of reason. to be honest, i have been going butt-wild all winter, and i think that has been my main problem with my stall. I didn't think about it till today and now that i have it's like a total DUH! moment. I've got the winter blues on top of my depresson and i just haven't given a damn in the last 3 months, which is also why my farts are so bad! LOL. but i've made a vow today to be better. I'm going to the gym and i'm snacking on salami and cheese roll ups with mayo. thank God winter is almost over, I'm hoping that with the coming of spring my stall will melt away too (oh, i'm poet!)
