Pain Question?

I have never had a C-section, but I have had the luxury of satan trying to expel itself.. and successfuly I might add from my body with no pain meds.. that was fun.

I had my DS a week ago today.
I was in some decent pain in the hospital, sent me home with Dilaudid and some other stuff... Today i have had one dilaudid, yesterday forgot all about it until 6:30 in the afternoon..

To me... it felt like someone had a go at me with some boxing gloves

OH..... forgot... I was able to sleep on my tummy last night.. totally pain free!!!

I had a C Section the old fashioned way-cut from belly button down. I had more pain with that then I did my DS, which was open. Had the DS on Monday, came home Saturday, was off pain meds Tuesday--give or take a day. You might want to discuss pain control with your DS surgeon and what his plan is on treating your post surgical pain.
