Off to the Hemo!
I really can't take that much credit for it because Steve is the one from the outset to think that the infection was associated with the inflammation and that the inflammation was affecting the pre-albumin & things just affected each other from there.
The only other thing I wonder about is my coagulaiton markers were high, but my K was "technically" in the normal range - yet FAR below the high value for the end of the normal range. We'll see what the heme guy has to say about that in terms of whether some aspect of the shape or size or paleness, etc of my RBC's have anything to do with that. If not, then I know that the low end of the K normal range is just too ridiculously low (as I suspect is the case). We'll see!

First Pregnancy, Due 8/12/14 I LOVE MY DS!!!
Tomorrow I have my first consultation with a hematologist, as I have been struggling with anemia most my life but the condition was exacerbated following a non-bariatric surgery in March. With my upcoming DS (early-mid August Dr. Greenbaum's summer holiday schedule provided) I want to establish a base line and work with a specialist as I have been experiencing mounting frustrations with my GPs treatment.
Lurking in the shadows, gathering information, I hope to have my spreadsheets ready for my consult tomorrow as I am uncertain how well versed a Hemotologist would be with the DS procedure let aline the post-DS absorption percentages and the recommended course/dosage of vitamins (vitalady regemine) consumed.
Best of luck in your endeavor to find a knowledgeable Hemo!
