how concerened should i be that i still have not passed gas?

I didn't pass any gas for three days. That was the only reason they didn't let me go home on day two.

I had lots of bowel sounds so they let me go early on day three and once i got home it started, little by little and went ALL DAY!
Do you have bowel sounds? (proof that your insides are recovering from anesthesia)

Don't be - I had surgery Tuesday morning and didn't pass gas until Thursday night-ish. I wasn't eating enough to MAKE the gas.

Did you get served that veggie lasagna yet? It's beyond nasty...

It took me 4 days to pass gas/have a BM. It takes a while sometimes.

It took me 4 days. I was supposed to leave the hospital after 3 days, but couldn't until that happened. I was fine and never had any complications. Hang in there!
