Ok, went to the Dos Salsa website...first thing I see is a low carb menu.  Sweeeeet.  Anything on there is going to be good.  If it comes with a tortilla, I usually don't eat it.  If there's a favorite burrito or something there that you like, you could probably eat the guts.

At Chuys, I've gotten the Elvis Chicken thing.  It's a chicken dish that is battered in potato chips instead of flour...not low-carb, but the potato chips are more safe for the gut than flour for me.  I also like getting fajitas there and I always get double beans, no rice.  I also have a love affair with the creamy jalapeno sauce but I bet it's not low carb and I don't care...lol.

At Casa Ole I would eat Carne Guisada, Chicken Acapulco, Chicken stuffed poblano pepper, Monterey Chicken, Spinach stuffed chicken breast, fajitas, or any of the fish dishes.

You can also get a taco salad or something like that.  But be careful with the lettuce at first as it doesn't go down so well for some at first.

If something you really really want comes breaded, you could potentially ask for them to not do that.  You can even say it's because you're gluten intolerant if you want to have an excuse.

As far as the Bladder issues go.. prior to this surgery I was getting ready to schedule surgery for repair to my low slung bladder and also an erectocele surgery.. decided to go with this first, lose the weight and see where that leaves me.

I just mentioned to my husband this morning that I have not had the "urge" to pee.. I sometimes have to remind myself to pee...

Love me some TEXMEX.   I go for Chili Relleno with whatever filling I want that day, beef, chicken, cheese...

If I get takeout ask for the chirazo (?) beans not the refried.  Not to be healthier or anything but because I like them.  (Basically they are pintos with tomatoes, onions, jalapeno, and sausage or ham).

If we stay in the resteraunt, I don't eat much of the chips and salsa because then I won't be able to eat anything else.  My sister and I usually share a plate at whatever place we go.  I get one thing off the plate and she eats the rice/beans.   Super cheap that way too. :)

As others have said, the Fage with fruit and such runs very high in sugar. Not something I would indulge in while losing weight. If you like it, take the regular and sweeten it yourself.

Tex Mex, I will eat pretty much anything. Loved it before surgery, love it after. A flour tortilla and some sauces will give me gas. If I take a corn tortilla and stick to beef/pork/cheese, I will do fine. You will learn what kinds of foods you can eat. Often Tex Mex places will have a grilled flank steak and that's a good choice if you don't want a tortilla and you don't want to be unwrapping things.
