MISSED YOU!!!! 9 month update
Hello DS Friends and Family :)
First I must appologize for the hiatias and I will fill you in on that in a sec, but first I'd start with the photo whoring
Here I am at my highest 300ish in August 2010:

Here I am in April 2011 6 months:

I need something more recent so I'll try to get a pic soon. I am at 184.4, that's 115 pounds lost so far!!!! I can NOT tell you how happy I am with the DS and my decision to get the surgery. No regrets and NO LOOKING BACK. Gawd, I just look at me in August and there are NO words.
Since I last posted I had a family emergency, my dad unexpectedly passed away in january from undiagnosed diabetis. Yes, this **** does kill. THANK GOD I GOT THE DS. I miss my dad dearly and I wish I still had him to talk to. So, if you're still thinking this disease doesn't kill, you're WRONG.
I moved to West Virginia in April to be with my man Steve, that's the cutie with me at Yosemite. It's been an adjustment from the West coast haha but it's good to be back on the east coast where I am from. I'm no longer CaliNik :( lol
I want to get myself posting again daily to keep tabs on my food & vites and I certainly miss the support on here. Any newbies, feel free to ask any questions!

I'm very sorry for your loss.
Congrats on your success, and I hope you'll be happy in your new home.
I'm really glad that you posted about your father. We struggle sometimes to face our fears of surgery, which is understandable, but sometimes we forget that without the surgery many of us face even greater risks. Your post about your father will help people to remember that there are risks of not having surgery as well.
