The obligatory combo self-congratulatory and inspirational post

So as of today, I have lost 100 pounds post-DS.  My surgery date was 7/1/10 (Dr. Sudan).

I am 5'2" and started at 240 pounds (BMI of 43.9), and today I weigh 140 pounds (BMI of 25.6).

I was wearing size 22-26 pre-surgery.  Today I am averaging a size 6-8 on top and 10 on bottom (although I have found a number of size 4 dresses that look awesome on me).

Other than a small panni and a little bit of upper arm hang, I feel comfortable in my skin for the first time in a long time.  I get noticed when I go out and can shop in "normal" stores.  About a month ago I donated over 400 items of clothing to Goodwill.  I have discovered the joys of Plato's Closet for my new wardrobe.

It's been a long road, and I still hope to lose about another 20 pounds.  But even if I don't lose another pound, I am happy.  I don't regret my choice and I would do it again in a heartbeat.  Donuts have nothing on loving myself.

Sweet deal!  I love Plato's closet.  I am always able to find some great skirts there with an elastic waist that are not too short. 

I've yet to ever buy a shirt there though.  I get totally overwhelmed by the options.

There are a lot of options!  I bring a shopping buddy and literally try on everything in the store that interests me. :)  Makes for a long day of shopping!
