I am having real difficulties getting the large calcium pills down.  Is the liquid form of calcium effective for us?

sure you can use the liquid as long as it is the Calcium Citrate.

I'm with you - those calcium pills take a lot of swallowing!!

you can soak them on a spoonful of water - they turn to mush

I added them to my protein shake and that gets most of them down.  Thanks for the idea.

I used UpCalD for a long time because it was not only NOT hard it was actually nice. Now I have no problem but I remember exactly what you mean.

I've taken several different liquid calciums (different brands, but always citrate / malate) and my absorption has been pretty good, It's working for me, so I'm sticking with it. Seems like it would be easier / faster to absorb something that has already been made soluble for your stomach.
