OK so I had surgery on 12/8 I've had this pain since day one but thought it was just gas in the sleeve. Whenever I eat something (proton shake, water) I feel like I got stabbed in the stomach. I take gas pills but that only makes it go away a little. Has this happened to anyone else and when will it stop?

OK went to Dr today and they said it was swelling mixed with gas. Everything seems fine they said.

Have you talk to your surgeon's office? I'd start there.

Goid luck,

How do you know it's something small? Please make sure you call your surgeon or go to the ER. If it turns out to be nothing, that's great.

Little nitpick - you don't have a pouch.

Hopefully this doesn't come back but you might think about looking at how fast you eat/drink and how much eat/drink at one meal. I had a really hard time at the start knowing when I was full and it always caused me stomach pain till I got a handle on it. Glad it stopped though.

Happy New Year. Congrats,

Pete

Gas pains should be gone by now. Talk to your surgeon about this.

Gallbladder pain comes an hour or two after eating or caffeine.

Are you holding food down? A stricture is something else to be concerned with too.

Either way - do NOT let them shoo you off. You shouldn't be hurting.
