Does anyone ever have VBG?

Hi, I noticed that most ppl have GB and I was wondering if that many ppl have VBG? I am leaning towards VBG but don't know if that is the right way to go....I am just terrified of WLS all together - I don't want to die and I know that is unlikely but I still worry. Karen

I an 2 1/2 years post-op open VBG. I did not lose weight as fast as the RNY patients and I did not lose as much weight as others but I did what was best for ME. I have not regretted my choice.
