Good Morning,

It is 14 days until the the start of 2013. This year has flown by. We are 7 days until Christmas Eve. Have you finished your wrapping, buying and baking yet?

I think I overdid it on Friday and yesterday. By 2 yesterday afternoon, my bady was saying no more. I stopped what I was doing and sat down in the living room and fell asleep for over an hour. I never sleep that long in the afternoon.

For those that are interested. Hubert finished the wall cabinet. Pictures on my homepage on Facebook.

today, I am doing little or nothing. A load of wash to do, 2 to fold. And, work on a gingerbread house I  bought. Aldi's had the kits for 6 bucks. I will post a picture when it is done.

Had a great day.Hugs, LISA

Well it is showdown time Chris and it looks like the Pack is healthy and the Bears need some cubs.  Any given Sunday though still applies so I will watch it.

Then there is Python.  Played with the second assignment in the Rice Course yesterday.  It will play if you click the arrow in the upper left hand corner but it tells you the answer and for some reason is not displaying the Guess the Number title.

Hi Lisa,

You sound like you are exhausted. The holidays do have that effect. In the days, I worked a full time job, I used to wonder how I would get it all done. I always did, but, I too, was exhausted and didn't even enjoy the day some years due to being so stressed out.

I spent the day yesterday cooking, baking, cleaning and watching White Christmas. Finally got the tree in from the wet outside and my hubby put it in the stand. Years ago I bought one of those expensive tree stands that comes in 2 parts that allows one person to put up the tree if need be. BEST $150 I ever spent. That tree was up and straight  in 5 minutes. Of course all 3 cats were around it all night. Today after church I will decorate it.

Last night it was warm and gorgeous. I took the garbage out and wound up going in and grabbing a sweater and taking the dog for a nice walk. I could get used to this weather.

Today after church,  I will watch the game and probably do a little laundry and more baking. Next weekend we have lots of parties so we are sticking close to home this weekend. I made fried chicken, greens and macaroni and cheese for dinner yesterday so today I think it will be something simple like tacos.

Have a beautiful day everyone,

Sharon

I agree it was a nice evening.  I went out to Kohls and Target last night and I just parked in the back of the parking lot both times and walked.  I hate playing that "find the closest parking spot" game...going up and down the lanes in the lot in search of the perfect spot....meanwhile I'm already parked and walking in the store!!!  Even when I was really over weight I didn't play that game.  I just always found the first spot and parked.

Sharon, you are probably right. I forget that I am no longer 20. At least I only work 3 days a week. That makes it easier. And really, I am not a neat freak. I just like to make sure everything is done. I want things done yesterday, not tomorrow.

Hello everyone

Yesterday I got a lot of running around done (JC Penney, Kohls, Target, Toys R Us, Walmart).  Today I will go back to JC Penney for more buttons.  I'm telling you guys those buttons are cool.  I won $30 so far.  I bought gloves (the kind where you can mess with your cell phone), sweater, and a hat/scarf set yesterday and it cost me $12.  I will go to the library and do laundry and workout today also.

Yesterday I went to workout and a guy came up and talked to me the whole time I was working out.  He seemed like a nice enough guy at first,  but it's awkward talking to a guy while you are sweating like a pig, first of all.  Second of all, I kind of like to work out in peace,  Third of all I ended talking to this guy about how to lose weight (he was over weight and wanted tips)...he kept asking lots of questions.  Then fourth...and the creepiest of all....I will have to explain.  The gym at the complex overlooks the swimming pool and 3 of the walls of the gym are windows. So as you are working out you can look out the windows (you see the pool, court yard and surrounding apartments looking out the windows)...but of course in the Winter it gets dark early and when I workout after work it's dark already.  Well this guy let it slip that he can see me working out every night from his apartment and watches me...he knew I was working out Friday at 9:30pm...kind of creepy.  He started to ask me where I like to eat and stuff like that and I was afraid he was going to ask me out...I was ready to lie and say I had a boyfriend....I wonder what will happen today when I workout???  Maybe it will be worse???  A psycho, a serial killer will hit on me???  No I will be positive...a really nice guy that is completely beautiful will hit on me today!!!

UGH...why do I attract such weirdos...first that guy that told me that his favorite porn star's name is Crystal (yipee!!!) and now weird stalker guy.  A couple of weeks ago a guy at Chipotle meowed at me???   What is that???  I know I wanted attract the attention of a special man...and the man I do like...is acting hot and cold (one minute he acts interested and the next he acts cold)..I don't know where I stand with him...and I am pretty much ready to wash my hands of that whole thing.  I am a mess in the man/woman department.  Maybe I should be a nun.  Now I remember why I have been single for so long!!!  Maybe it is true..all the good ones are married or gay!!!

Well I am going to relax and have breakfast...have a nice day...see ya later...bye

What is the creepy dude's name? If you go missing, I'll know who to report to the Po-Po.

That was very creepy!

Hugs,

Sharon

He is probably harmless, but he sounds creepy. I'm glad you aren't a push-over. I agree you should mention this to management. I am praying for God's protection. Be SAFE. Hugs, Sharon
