low blood sugars

This really freaks me out when I read about it, does it happen to everyone ? I'm not a diabetic  but will I be one after surgery ? I read people's stories about hypoglycemic and don't want to end up like that.  It's scary  I have a 2 year old to take care of and I don't want to pass out. My husband is a diabetic and I have seen his low's and it scared  me because he was not himself. I don't want to be a diabetic with problems with low sugars.
