Extra seat needed ? One Person One Fare program for flying

For anyone having to fly to appointments or consultations out of province, make sure you check out the one person, one fare program that the airline has ( i know west jet does ).   You can apply  for extra seating if you are disabled, which being morbidly obese is disabling.   You have to apply for approval before you book your flight and it has to be completed partly by you and partly by your doctor but it is worth it !   I have just flown from Winnipeg Manitoba to Montreal, and I had approval for the additional seat.  It was a huge relief for me not to have worry about if I'd fit in the seat?  Would I be squished against someone ? How embarrased, ashamed would I feel ?  But thanks to the approval and the extra seat, I didn't have to worry. The forms are online and it's super easy to complete, and the people at the medical desk at west jet were wonderful !
