DS with Kemmeter set for May 23!! Yaaa haaa

I am so excited... I have been waiting for this day..the day I could say "I have a date"
I keep repeating that to my Husband.... so exciting... !!!

Well congratulations, that's awesome!!  I went thru GHP also, but i had the sleeve..with Dr. Foote.  Love GHP!

Congrats on getting your surgery date.  In my book, Dr. Kemmeter is the very best surgeon around.....you'll be pleased.

That's fantastic news! Which hospital did you pick? I was at Blodgett and the staff was fantastic! Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

I chose to go to Saint Mary's due to the private room aspect... i was worried I would nto get a private room at Spectrum.

Congrats!!!  Won't be long now and you will be sitting on the loser's bench.... Hope you have a safe and speedy recovery....  Good Luck...

You will LOVE St. Mary's.  I had my surgery there 3/14 and they were totally awesome!! And I was a Spectrum Health employee for the past 6 years.  I got a free massage and pedicure while I was there lol. And my nurses were great.  I absolutely loved the care I got.  I am not sure but Blodgett was remodeling to make the whole hospital private rooms a while back.  Not sure if they finished that project or even continued it as I'm not working there (Spectrum Health) anymore but I know it was in the works at one point in time.

 You'll be in great hands with Kemmeter and Saints!!  Congrats and enjoy your date!!!

Congratulations and good choice with St Mary's.  I was at Blodgett and it was the only part of the process I would change.  Not sure if they are experiencing growing pains, but in January it was not so great. 

I had my surgery at Blodgett in April 2010..and my experience there was great.  I had a private room there as well.
