Lapband revision to gastric

Has anyone experienced a revision?

My Gastric by pass was canceled Thursday night - my surgery was scheduled for this Wednesday.

Now I'm scheduled for Sleeve next Wednesday - pending approval.

My problems are that my surgery is in Las Vegas, NV. Plane ticket was canceled, now price has doubled.

I have not personally experienced a revision from lap band to RNY or a VSG (sleeve), but I run a large support group in Raleigh and have members who have and have had very good success with their revision.
