New band

Well after four years without a band due to a slip, I have finally decided to get another one after gaining all the wait plus thirty pounds more. I have been so miserable.  The process has been a breeze. Appt with dr Holsaeter, upper gi as a precaution, dietician same day, no psych eval, no dietary requirements.  I should get a date soon....yeah

Have you looked into VSG?  Just curious why you want the band again?  Hope all goes well:)

I did well with the band and was happy with it, unfortunately I caught a stomach bug and vomited for three days and that's how I lost my band.  The other surgeries scare me a little to be honest and are too permanent, although I do not view the band as a temporary option by any means, just that it can be reversed with your anatomy still in tact if need be.
