Am I too skinny for the surgery to be covered by OHIP??

I've seen the SW, Nurse, dietician, and internist.  All of them have said that I am "Healthy but obese".  So, I am "the perfect candidate for surgery".  My BMI is about 49 and I have no (major) co-morbidities.  This will not put me farther back than someone else because I'm 'healthier' - I will go went it's my turn.  I haven't heard of a single case where someone got in sooner due to medical conditions.  In some cases, I believe they make you wait until issues get settled (ie. sleep apnea being treated, diabetes under control, etc.).

First come, first served.
