Sudbury - new bariatric surgery offering?

I just read a headline from a news service, that the Sudbury Star has an article entitled something like "New Bariatric Centre to offer hope"
The item would be on page A2 according to the clips service.

All you northern Ontarians - does anyone have access to that article, to share with the others?

It's going to be an assessement centre much like Thunder Bay and Windsor.  The article says all their patients will be sent to St. Joe's Toronto for surgery.

sudbury used to do surgeries, my friend had WLS there about 6 or 7 years ago.

That would be awesome to not have to drive all the way to T.O. if any complications were to happen..

It is an assessment centre - to see a bariatric surgeon you'd need to travel to a surgical centre if it is an emergency as you'd likely need to be treated by a bariatric surgeon.
