 post op liquid diet are we allowed sf ice cream or no sugar added ice cream?

That wasn't on the list at HRRH.

I did put my protien shakes in the freezer and eat them like a slushie a time or two.

Sometimes the best support  you can get isn't all purple puddles and pink rainbows.

that was the only way I could take my pills post op, but very limited amount. Good Luck

I am preop, so can't answer based on that, but...having been diabetic for many years, read sf and no sugar added labels very closely.  Often they are very high in fat (as a way of making them taste better I assume) and therefore not necessarily a good option. 

If I'm not mistaken...we can "dump" on fats too, correct?

 I had sugery at TWH and sugar free ice cream was def on my list for liquid phase

Are you serious??!!   Good lord, I didn't try sugar free ice cream until last year at over 4 years out.

 i guess alot has changed, i bought it when i was shopping for my liquid phase but i didnt eat it, havent tried ice cream
