OT...I have an awesome mom!

Well, all the clothes I own are about size 28, and they clearly do not fit any more. I don't have a local VV and our thrift store isn't the greatest (they aren't very fussy about what they take and often the clothes are in pretty rough shape). I can make do with most of what I have, but I do need some nice clothes for work.

Tonight my mom took me out shopping. A Reitmans just opened with a small plus sized section. My mom wears a size 22 (and apparently I do now too!!) so she bought me a couple of new outfits with the condition that when I don't fit them anymore (in a month or so!!) that I give them to her!

So I get some new clothes that look decent for work and she gets some barely worn clothes in a month or two! Win win!!

And I look pretty good in them if I do say so myself...lol

Nice, very nice. Did you have to choose stuff that she would wear too? Was it easy to compromise?

Actually it was...we both tried on everything first to make sure it fit her too. We got two pants and two tops.

Reitman's - my favourite store. I was just there this evening trying on jeans. I can hardly wait until I fit into the regular size side of the store - I love their stuff.

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora. Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.
