Monday Morning Weigh-In

After nearly a month with no movement, finally the scale is down.  Last time I weighed in a a194, this week is 191.  Total now is 85 pounds.  Have a good week everyone!

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora.  Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.

Well that's just great Megan.  Stalls are the WORST, and in my case really sap my confidence.

Surgery Feb 11, 2011

Today I made my original "dream" goal of 170, so I'm stepping it up now to 145 by June 20th - my 61st birthday.  At that point I'll be 16 months out from surgery.  Hope I can make it.

Have a great day everyone, and thanks for being there.  OH has been and will continue to be KEY to my ongoing success.

Hey, Monica.  I finally got back to vigilant tracking after having a really hard time getting back on track after the holidays, and it feels great!  Sending you some encouragement....

Thrilled that I lost 2.5 lbs this week!  Since my first couple of weeks out, I think I've only lost more than 2 lbs in a week once or twice.
Sooooo close to goal......!

thanks, Karen. I need that. I need to be vigilant about planning what i'm going to eat, and sticking with it. Its too easy to fall into that old pattern of accepting treats from well meaning friends.

I always feel like I eat too much when I track because I get paranoid looking at all the small portions and think, "How can that possibly be enough food for the day? I should eat more protein." If I look at what I've eaten right before bed I've usually eaten pretty well.

nope. definitely eating too much, without vigilant tracking and planning.

I haven't posted since before Christmas!  EEEKK!!  Got a new job and it keeps me pretty busy, but here I am the last time I weighed in on December 19 I was 195 and as of today I am 180!!!

Darn heck it all.
Gained 2 pounds.

I know what it it - I haven't been moving near enough. I just love to walk, and this last week hardly did any of that at all. Thank goodness I'm off to Cuba at 3 am on Wednesday so walking the beach will be no problem at all.
