Bananas and the Yonanas Maker
Hi everyone,
I am wondering what we are allowed in terms of bananas once we are on diet for life? My gf purchased and loves the Yonanas maker. Apparently it turns fruit into a soft-serve ice cream texture. However, when I watch the video it seems like the lady is putting 2 or 3 bananas in to make a bowl, that would probably serve 2 people eating normal meals, but I would say about maybe 4 or 6 servings for RNYers. The bananas can also be mixed with other fruits i.e. strawberries, blueberries etc.
Anyhow, before I even think about purchasing one I was hoping to hear from some folks about the amt of fruit we are allowed...do you think it would be a smart purchase or no?
Thanks

Frozen bananas blend very well in a food processor so I'd not purchase an expensive Yonana. I have a little food processor that I use for blending frozen bananas and they turn out just like soft serve. I'm a total kitchen gadget ***** but wouldn't waste my money on that. I have blended frozen bananas with frozen strawberries or frozen raspberries or frozen mango and they all turn out exactly like the yonana commercial. My little food processor is good for more than the soft serve thing so it's a better bang for my buck.
