A question for everyone ....need advice

I had my heart set on 8 weeks!!  I hope for at least 6.  If I go back any earlier, I will be put on a project that involves travel and I don't think I will be ready for that.  I have to lug my laptop and stuff which would involve lifting.
I will be contacting Dr. Kleins office on monday because I hope he didn't put me back to work in 3 weeks!!  I didn't even ask him  - I just assumed 6 weeks was the norm.    I have full coverage for the duration and I have never used my benefits in this way before so I am in no rush right now to go back.   I want to be sure I am ready.  (sorry, I just realized that I have gone on a bit of a tangent here)

I would advocate for 6 weeks as you just don't know.  at least then, if you decide to go back earlier, you can do it on your own terms.  provided of course that you have coverage and can afford the time.  Also, I was reading a post yesterday (I forget who posted) and she went back after 5 weeks and was having a hard time with work and her energy levels.  I know everyone is different but this tells me that we should not rush things.
good luck!!

Thanks everyone......I think I'm going to push for the 6 weeks not only because of the physical aspect but also making sure I'm on track with the eating and hydration.  You guys are great! Thank you!
