I purchased a similar unit from bed, bath and beyond and returned it once I read the instructions. They state that sugar must be used in the recipes as artificially sweetened or sugar free pops are virtually impossible to remove from the unit and may result in damaging the unit. This may be because sugar free pops freeze more solidly and you cannot run warm water to help loosen the pops due to how the unit works.

I was so excited to use it-but it is not suitable.

I have this its amazing! Its on my counter in the summer as if it was my toaster. its addictive to play with, with all the kits and accessories for designing pops
