Got Aprroved for Surgery today!!

I know I don't post on here alot, but rest ssured I read it post daily, and I see how many wonderful people are on here. Well 15 minutes ago Dr.Starrs office called, and said I was approved, and Could have surgery June 21st... NOW IM FREAKING OUT!! I asked them to give me an hr or so to decide, I never expected it so soon.. I feel so, I dont even know how to explain it. It's real now, My life can change forever in three weeks!! OMG what do I do?

Surgeon Consultation with Dr Starr-- March 30th/2012 Gastric Class on -April 13th/2012 Registered Dietitian-May 28 /2012 Registered Nurse-May 28/2012
Social Worker-May 28/2012 Surgery Date June 21/2012

What do you do?? Call back and book the surgery!!

You'll have right up to the time you're in the OR to back out. Book the time now so you're not delayed further.

Take a deep breath, calm down and call back. June 21st is a great time to have surgery! The start of a new season in the year and in your life. In 4 weeks, you'll wonder what you paniced about.

congrats's on getting the date in record time!! I would call back and accept the date, cause what if the next date is 2 months away?? Perfect timeing, just in time for summer.

OMG, me too! I cannot take off work tho. I am dying here. I would love to however, I don't think I would be able to eat properly at the end of june because it is way too busy here. I am praying for July/Aug!

Oh wow....that does seem fast. I would gladly take the date if you don't! lol Just kidding. I'm not 'there' yet. Seeing the internist June 27.....I'm sure that comes before surgery! lol

You will be fine. Just go with it. You're just a little surprized right now. Lucky you!
