NSV in the USA
Just returned from yet another visit to the US of A. Went down with another couple and stayed with friends for the weekend at their place on the lake. Spent a few hours toodling around the lake on their pontoon boat yesterday, and when we got back to the house, my friend asked me how it felt being the smallest person on the boat. Needless to say, I was shocked - it hadn't registered, but I guess I probably was. That's a far cry from being the biggest person in any situation for most of my life. I felt pretty good, but kept pretty quiet about it - my friend is struggling with her weight, and I don't like to make her feel worse about herself - been there, done that, over and over again.
Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora. Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.
Oh Megan, that is such a cool NSV! Love it!
