Mellowing out!

Hey folks:

Haven't received my orientation letter yet BUT my family Doctor called to say that he received a letter from TWH  acknowledging the referral and that it said I would be receiving a letter inviting me to an information/orientation session.

Funny...now I can just sit back and relax, I feel like the weight of the world has lifted off my shoulders (hmmm, interesting choice of words here!  tee hee hee).  As long as I am in the system and the process has begun, I am good to let it happen when it happens!

Thanks all for listening to my anxious posts over the past couple of weeks..

Ciao, for now

Kim

I thought I'd get a letter from TWH about orientation.....I called and they said it was being mailed out( which I never received by the way)....but a couple of hours later they called with my orientation date which was last december 2011!!

Maybe you could call them to ask?? It wouldn't hurt!:)

Au contraire my friend, now you call the center and say "I understand you received my referral, when can I come in for orientation?"

You want to stay on them for the next step all the time, it can make a big time difference.

That's exactly what I did! I knew my doctor's office had sent the referral, so I waited a few weeks and followed up with the WMC and I got my letter in the mail a week or two later.

I never received a letter but got a phone call fairly quickly after the doctor confirmed that the referral had been sent.  I told my gf that they had called for the orientation so she just called the same number I had been given and pretended that they had left her a message (but they hadn't) and they gave her a date and time!  Sometimes you need to be creative kiss

That gf was me....totally lied and said that I had received a vm and to call back for an appt. I have never received any mail or email from them. That clinic at HRRH is a total cluster **** Don't ever sit back and wait. ;)
