Results from my not quite 1yr follow up

Today I had what they considered my 1 year follow up (although my 1 year surgerversery is not officially until December 23). Like that old Virginia Slims commercial used to say ''You've come a long way baby''.  Here is an update in how my life has changed in numbers since November 27, 2011 (date I started Optifast)...

BMI is down by 38.2
Waist is down by 28 inches
And my biggest thrill of all is that my weight is now officially down by 202 lbs!!!!!!

I only have 51 lbs left to go to reach the hospital goal and 76 lbs to go if I decide to continue to my own personal goal. I will decide that by how I feel when I reach the hospital goal.

My blood work was all perfect. She said I can now switch to appts once a year if I would like. I told her I felt that was too long between appts so I opted to see her again in 6 months. Of course if things happen that I feel I am falling off the wagon or just need some extra support I can call and see the dietician/nurse anytime prior to that.

I do I have to say that I am VERY proud of me today!!

A lot of people keep telling me I am an inspiration...never in a million years would I have thought I could be an inspiration to someone when it came to losing weight!
