New weight wONEderful!
I must confess that I had to stand on the scale a few times to believe my eyes. I am under 200 lbs already.
Now I started out at 225, so not a massive amount, but I am 8 days post surgery, and as happy as can be.
I have no issues with eating my pureed food, no nausea, vomiting etc (touch wood), and aside from the dent in my belly, things are fab!
ALSO I am down from 5 Metform a day to 2 a day, and I am aiming to be off all of my diabetes meds before the new year!

Woohoo! Congrats on reaching Onederland.
What have your blood sugar readings been since surgery? I was no longer on Metformin right after surgery. I had stopped one other med before Optifast, then no more Metformin after surgery. (4 pills per day). My blood sugar readings have all been normal. Even if i eat they generally read about 6.5 after eating and fasting - between 4.2 and 5.2.
