Reminder: Bytown Benchers Christmas Social
Hey everyone, just a reminder that it is not too late to still RSVP for our Christmas Social gathering.
Bytown Benchers hosting a Christmas Social. Wednesday, December 5th at 6:00 p.m. Address: 530 Laurier Ave. W, Party Room. Parking available on Gloucester St. and in the Centennial School parking lot. Parking at either of these places will bring you to the back door. Someone will be at that door from 5:45 p.m. - 6:15 p.m. to let you in. If you are planning on arriving later, please send me a private message and I can give you my cell phone to call when you arrive and then someone will come down to let you in. Otherwise, you could park at Tech High School (I have never heard of anyone getting ticketed or towed there), which is right across the street on Laurier. If you come through this entrance, you will need to ring 232 and someone will buzz you in.
This will be a weight loss friendly potluck supper to celebrate the upcoming festive season. Start time will be 6:00 p.m.. Spouses and children are more than welcome to attend. We will be doing a Christmas Carol sing along. I will bring lyric sheets. If anyone is good with a guitar and would like to bring it along, please feel free to do so. Who knows, we may have even have a surprise Weight Loss Christmas Carol to sing as well. I have not had time to plan any games or activities other than the sing along, so I am totally open to any suggestions for activities. Please note, we are going to forego the tacky gift exchange, and just focus on having good conversations and good fun with good friends. Hope to see you all there. The more the merrier!
