My son got the call for the next step in his journey!!

He had his first Orientation session on Sept. 21 (going by memory, but pretty sure this was the date). He got the call today for his nurses' appt. on January 23rd!!! I am a very excited mama right now!

Surgery ---December 23 with Dr. Yelle!

That's great news, April -- congratulations to your son. :)

Your family's doing it the mirror image of mine. My son had his RNY in January 2010 (last cohort from Ontario sent to Utica, NY, and has lost 200 pounds); as you know, I'm waiting for my surgery date.
