Please tell me this is normal!  I'm just about 8 weeks out and find myself snapping with my kids/spouse at the drop of a dime these days!  I can just walk away most times, but my 6 year old daughter who is going on 16 in her mind knows EVERY button to push!

please tell me this is just a hormonal thing and it'll pass eventually!!  Please!!

Someone mentioned on here that our rapid weighloss releases the estrogen that was stored in the fat we have lost. Does not make it any easier but it is a reason. Can't tell you how long it lasts. Hope not long.

Hmm...

I have a meningioma (a benign brain tumour) that they MRI every year to make sure it isn't getting too big. Apparently I can never do HRT because these tumours have estrogen receptors. I wonder if the estrogen changes can have an effect. I wondered why Dr. Hong mentioned it. Most docs dismiss it right away.

Ah well, they watch it enough that it should be okay..

Lori... please keep on top of it yourself. Docs do tend to forget occasionally and its your bod.  You might  wanna check in with the Doc who monitors your brain and ASK him if the whacky estrogen is going to be an issue.

Don't ya just LOVE being female?

I'm curious.... Isn't the fact that our stomachs are stapled an issue for having MRIs?

It could be because of different things. Large calorie deficit makes people irritable also.
