Happy Dance for me
I am grinning today even more than yesterday! Sept. 4th was my 1st surgiversary and I have lost 110 lbs and 65 inches. I feel like a brand new person. I tried on a pair of Calvin Klein jeans that I bought at Costco for $17.00 (mind you they are stretchy) but the size 16 fits and I could actually have used a 14 - that is mind blowing. A year ago I did not believe that I would ever weigh under 200 lbs and I do now !!!! In fact my goal weight is now achievable in my future. When I read 'enjoy the ride' it certainly is true.
I seem to be in a 'stall' right now for about the last 8 weeks but I know that I just have to keep striving towards healthy. Thank you to everyone on this site for all of your information, laughs and encouragement. For all the newbies take it from this old girl - you can do it too

Referred September 2012, HHRH Orientation December 2012, Meet with surgeon January 2013, Meet with and testing with Dr Glazer May 2013, PATTS July 4, 2013 - 325lbs, Surgery HRRH August 1st, 2013 - 299lbs, second surgery late August 2nd to drain fluid, Discharged August 5th - 294lbs, reached 1/2 way to goal at 16 wks, MOM of three kids, married for 13 years :)
