Well, I"m getting there. 27 days until surgery. Day 3 of Opti. It seems like an eternity waiting. It can't go fast enough for me. I'm excited and  normally "nervous". I just want it to be here.  How did everyone survive those last couple of weeks?

I'm spending my time getting my food ready for coming home, getting things ready for the hospital, reading WLS books...but I want time to fly!!!!

It may still seem like an eternity, but the last couple days you'll look back and wonder what happened to the time.  It'll go fast enough.  Just take it one day at a time!

I was the same way for most of my journey and as soon as I found out this was happening you could literally hear the tires screeching!  I am now trying to get work, family, life, shopping in order in the few days I have left.  Don't get me wrong I jumped at the date they gave me, but very soon you will wonder where the time went.  Enjoy it, learn as much as you can, find the foods people are posting about and relax.  It will be here before you know it!  So exciting!!
