I am in Rochester this weekend with family and decide to stock up for next week.  I was able to find all my vitamins in liquid form - I'm sure they taste like butt, however I have them even if its just for the short term.  I found prenatal gummies, liquid adult Tylenol, sugar free Metamucil, biotin, sugar free raspberry and chocolate drink syrups and protein called Body Fortress that another wls friend recommended all for about $60.

These may not be perfect but they were so inexpensive compared to home and some things I haven't seen at home.  I still have to hit Sams Club to get my chocolate and vanilla Premier Protein shakes, 12 for $18.

I live 15 mins from the US so its very convenient for me to zip over, I realize some of you are much farther away but it is so worth the trip if you can do it.

Warn me if anything I bought is no good, I rely on all you experts, lol!

I really enjoy the sugar free pudding powders also, I've also bought sugar free cake mix and icing.  sugar free jello is much cheaper there also.  Just a couple of thoughts

I love getting stuff in the US. Stocked up on Centrum Silver chewable multivitamins when I was there in November. Gonna get more when I go back next month.

Just wanted to let you know that we are advised to avoid any kind of gummy vitamins. They are too difficult to digest and therefore absorb for full benefit.

The only thing I buy in the USA are the protein bars because Zone Perfect are 24 bars for $18.88 at Sams

otherwise I pretty much stay clear of any vitamins from there because their testing/regulations are  more lenient than Canada's

prior to surgery 323lbs....4 years post-op maintaining between 108- 114 lb loss.

life is AMAZING when you continue on the right path~!.  Use your surgeons gift to the fullest~!
