Best decision ever!  Had my RNY at St Joe's TO.  Down 116 lbs, one lb below goal and now normal BMI. No more meds.  Relief for my bum knee and back. So grateful for all the support from folks on this board and local groups. Working on fitness goals and maintenance now.  Seemed like a long time waiting for surgery but worth every step of the journey.

Referred HRRH Apr.  2012, Info. Session: Sept 12/12, Surgeon Consult: Dr L Smith Sept 19/12,  RD/SW/RN/ Nov 19/12.  Surgery Date:  April 29, 2013

Happy Surgiversary!  Congratulations on your success.

I would maybe suggest losing a few extra pounds if you can because you will probably regain some while trying to learn the ins and outs of maintenance. It also gets a little harder to stick with the program and our bodies start to adapt to the intact of less calories the farther out you get.
