Stomach cramps after eating that lasted 10-15 minutes. Also, I cycled between constipation and diarrhea. I just assumed the cramps were my stomach not liking what I ate (denial much?****il one day the cramps went from a 4 to a 10, didn't stop and were joined by equally excruciating back pain. A contrast CT showed an internal hernia and I had emergency surgery to fix it.

Hope that helps!

Thanks Lorraine. I don't have abdo pain but pain on between shoulder blades constantly that worsens after eating. There was some abdo pain but that stopped after my gallbladder was removed. Lots of nausea & heartburn & feels like a lump in my throat.  I think I'll call Dr Hagen's office for an appt

I am not a vet, just 5 months out.  2 weeks ago I had a hernia repair.  My symptoms were not being able to hold anything down, not even water.  I also had pain in my lower left pelvic area and under my left breast.  They initially thought I had an ulcer, but nothing showed in the scope.  Perhaps that is what you have, or at minimum sounds like you have some irritation to your pouch.  A laparoscopic exam showed I had a hernia in my small bowel, which was then fixed.

Hopefully you will get this sorted out and feel better soon.
