You were approved for a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) or a panniculectomy? I have not heard of OHIP footing the bill for a tummy tuck, ever. They will approve a panniculectomy, with medical need.

I was just approved for my panniculectomy with OHIP. A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is not covered with OHIP so I have upgraded my panni procedure to the tummy tuck.
Congratulations! I am having a full tummy tuck with mons repair and lipo on my flanks on November 21st in Barrie with Dr Tumi.
Waiting time was great. I actually asked to hold off til now but could have had it done in the summer. I wanted to ensure I am staying at the same weight and no ups and downs.

This is wayyyy down the road for me, but I'm also in Barrie and curious how much it cost to have the extras done? Thanks, and nice work on the weight loss. I hope that one day I'm as successful as you (and others) are.

Surgeon#1 - May 15th Dr. Glazer - July 23rd, Dietitian/Social Worker/RN - Aug 1st, Surgeon #2 - Sept 10th, Surgery - Dec 16th, 2014!
With Dr Tumi its $5300.00. That includes the full tummy tuck, lipo on flanks and mons repair. $300 of that goes to the hospital as an admin fee.

what is "Mons repair"? and I assume the flanks are my butt cheeks?
