18 months post op

I have not posted in here as of lately but for those of you who don't know me, I had RNY 18 months ago(July 17 2013). Starting weight 270 lbs 5'7". current weight 162lbs.

It came to me the other day that this whole journey has been measured. My weight (-108 lbs),my BMI (25.4), my inches (-90) and my body fat % (17.9)..what I forgot to measure was my self worth...some events these past few weeks have made me realize that really is the only number I honestly care about. I am worth every single step I have taken to get where I am. This road is far from over, I know that for sure! Make time to love yourself!

The change is amazing. I love your arm and shoulder muscles. That must of taken a lot of work. And yes you are so worth it. Good luck with your continued journey

Referred September 2012, HHRH Orientation December 2012, Meet with surgeon January 2013, Meet with and testing with Dr Glazer May 2013, PATTS July 4, 2013 - 325lbs, Surgery HRRH August 1st, 2013 - 299lbs, second surgery late August 2nd to drain fluid, Discharged August 5th - 294lbs, reached 1/2 way to goal at 16 wks, MOM of three kids, married for 13 years :)
