Help!

Ok, this is likely TMI but I definitely need help figuring this out!

I started purée yesterday. What a disaster it has been! I can't keep anything in! I keep having diarrhea.

This morning I took my chewable multi and within 30 mins I was experiencing cramping and diarrhea (first time this has happened) Is my body confused about what's going on? Anyone else experience this? I feel like I am scared to go anywhere because it is so unpredictable at the moment!

If just chewing your vitamin is doing it, I don't think it has anything to do with pureed. Could just be coincidence. You could always go back to full liquids and see what happens. Some people end up doing it a bit longer as there body is just not ready to move to the next stage. If all you did was chew the vitamin and it happened then it can't be the pureed causing it. I sometimes had bouts of diarrhea early out and it eventually went away. You can take imodium so you can go out.

It happened all morning yesterday too. From an egg I think

I was soooo excited for food but this is not what I expected.

Eggs can still give me diarrhea years out. Was today simply the vitamin or had you eaten something too?

Today was just vitamins.

Then doubt it's the puree especially if it's the same vitamin you have been chewing all along. You might just have a few bad GI days. I still take imodium now and then as I can get the odd bout of it for no reason at all.

If all you're really having is fluids then it makes sense that you will be having loose stools too. Contact your surgeon and let the office know what's happening to you. They may agree with you taking Imodium or they may want to see you.

Hi there - I experienced something similar and when I was post op and it lasted for quiet some time. Super important to get in enough fluids so you don't dehydrate.

Liquid in = liquid out

Good luck
