Good morning all of PA!  It is yet another Monday - but one more closer to Summer!  I am sooo ready.

We spent Mother's Day down the shore for the day. It was AWESOME!!!!  It was the first one since the year before my mom died that I was not sad or dreading the next activity in the day.  We woke up at our friend's house and emily brought me in breakfast.  SO SWEET!  She was so excited about it!  We then ewnt home, picked up the rest of the family, packed our bags and headed to the shore.  We were accomanied by my Michael who lost him mom back in September and his dad.  Everyone was in a great mood and we were all lauging and joking throughout the day.  We were on the beach - while it was chilly - it was so fun.  The kids all seemed to enjoy themselves and Larry, Kurt and I just enjoyed being together and watching the kids.  It was a great day!

Today - I am back in paradise. joy of all joys!  After school I am going to go for a run - it has been over a week.  It is amazing how fast a week goes when one is so busy and can't find 45 minutes to exercise.  Then tonight - dependant on the weather - the local Church is having their annual carnival.  I already purchased the bands for the kids for them to go on all the rides all week, so I am hopeful that the weather cooperates.  However, if this winter is any indication....well - I am screwed!

Happy Monday all!  Hope your day is a good one!

 GM Steffi and PA,

I am sitting in the hallway doing hall duty while make up testing is going on, YIPPEE!?!?!

Steffi, I am so glad that you had a nice day yesterday. I know that Mothers Day is a very difficult day for you! Mine was ok. Sitting here worrying about my Dad who is in the hospital with pneumonia. He is not cooperating so that makes it more difficult. After school I will be going to the hospital, so who knows what time I will get home. Hubby is picking up Dee and taking care of her this evening.

Please say prayers for my Dad.

Have a great day!

Love, Beth

Good Morning Steffi & PA!

Glad to hear you had an enjoyable Mother's day.

Today I'm just getting up and going....Took the day off from work.  I think I deserve it :-)

The weekend was amazing!!!!!!  Something I never in my wildest dreams thought would happen did, I have a graduate degree.....

Today I have to write my LAST, I SAID LAST paper for this evenings class.  After class we are all going out to a local resturant to have a few drinks (water or hot decaf tea for me).  We've invited our spouses to join us, since we live so far from the university, Gene is going with me, before we leave campus, Gene is going to take a group shot of our entire class for us.  I have an amazing hubby - so glad he found me and kidnapped me from Jersery LOL

Hope you all have a wonderful day.  I have to drag my butt upstairs and start writing....tomorrow what will I do with my free time????

Good afternoon Steffi & PA!

Steffi - you are too funny.  I don't know who is more anxious for school to end, you or my son.  He is counting down the days.  Frankly I am surprissed the two of you are not counting down the hours at this point.
As for me, I am counting down the days until Caleb's Eagle Ceremony.  It is 13 days away & I am not ready yet.  I swear it is liek planning a wedding...got the church, caterer, preacher, cake....just no bride...LOL.  Our US congressman is even attending and presening his a citation (very cool).  If any of you are going to be in Central PA on 5/27, let me know, you can come & celebrate too!

Later...
Sara

Sorry to bring up th rear today.  I have been an anxious wreck since noon.  I have Keystone HMO, and need referrals for specialists.  Up until now, I have not had a problem keeping them up to date.  Unfortunately, I spent two weeks in April in Michigan, then all of last week there as well.  I have been on an antibiotic for over a month because of a sinus infection.  I'm scheduled to see the Ear, Nose, Throat doc tomorrow, so he can look at the films of my CT scan.  Today, I get a call from them telling me I need a new referral.  My primary doc's office requires 48 hours notice for referrals.  I left them a message begging them to make an exception, explaining the whole thing.  I have to wait till tomorrow morning to find out if they did it.  They send referrals electronically.

Prior to my retirement, I did not need referrals.  Since I retired, I pay for COBRA medical insurance, and Keystone is $150 a month cheaper than Personal Choice.

Sorry to dump my woes.  I desperately need to keep this appointment.

Hugs,
Trish
