Running errands straight from the gym, bundled up in my winter jacket...clearly not looking my best. As we are racing through Costco, my very critical (very...like I sometimes think she's channeling my father) 6 year old daughter says to me out of nowhere: "mom...you look different." I ask what she means. She says "I mean...you look very different than you did before your surgery. You look like a different person." Now...I know I'm not supposed to have favorites when it come to my kids...but.... ;)

I had my 6 week follow-up with my Dr. yesterday. According to her scales, I'm down 42 lbs since 12/1...she's very happy with my progress, and isn't concerned with my 3 week stall.

It's been a good couple of days :)

Banded 12/18/08. Band removed and revision to RNY on 12/15/14.

that's great! My son told me the other day I had cheek bones! lol yes, son I do have cheek bones.

NSVs are the best. I am able to give myself a pedicure. I love being able to reach my toes.
