Good Morning Karen,

Curious where you buy Earnest Eats hot cereal? I'd like to give it a try.

Hubby and I decided to go to support group next week. The topic is skin removal surgery. I think I am getting a little bit interested but I would still like to lose about 20 more pounds. This is something I am not going to rush into by any means.

QOTD: Anything fruit or vegetable out of my garden is my absolute favorite. There is nothing better than fresh picked.

B: Quaker low sugar oatmeal made with Fairlife milk

S: HB egg

L: ham and swiss with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles - minus the roll

S: Greek yogurt

D: unsure as we are meeting friends out for dinner

120+ ounces of water or crystal light, all vitamins, and 10,000+ steps

Have a great day everyone!

I buy my Earnest Eats at some Walmarts. Most don't carry it around home so I look for it when I travel. I eat the Pro type which has protein and probiotics added and no extra sugar. The regular has added sugar so check the label carefully. Amazon is another option.

Earnest Eats is great - but another option if you can't find it is to add protein powder to your oatmeal when you're making it. In addition to (vanilla, in my case) protein powder, I usually add cinnamon and some Splenda or SF Torani syrup, too.

I thought protein powder went wonky when heated.

hmmm...you're right. Odd I don't seem to have issues with it when I put it in oatmeal, though. Unless I just don't notice?

This salad sounds delicious. Yum.

ETA: except the basil part... I am highly allergic to basil. In lieu of an ER visit mint might be good, or I usually sub flat leaf parsley.
