When I come back from my hairdresser is the only time my hair is straight. I have wavy hair, but it doesn't all wave the same direction. I've pretty much given up and just let it be. On my particularly bad days I call it my Medusa Hair Day!

You look great in orange :)

I have wildly curly and frizzy hair and pay a ridiculous amount of money to have it straightened with Keratin every 3 months! I will never go back... I think I would give up food before I have up my Keratin, and you know how much I love food!

I have naturally wild hair that matches my personality, I suppose. Does this Keratin work magic? I have never heard of it. I need to Google this strange new mystical concept, lol... Here is a funny story related to my hair. Once, on a middle school field trip the class stopped to stay at a hotel on the way home. We were given a bit of unsupervised time in the evening. (Bad idea, BTW). Anyways. There was a CVS nearby and a few of my roommates and I went over and bought a boxed perm to "straighten" my hair. So. We obviously thought this would be the grandest makeover ever. The smell ended up permeating the entire hotel and management evacuated everyone, including us until they could sort it out. Apparently there was some sort of K9 training convention going on at the same time. (we had NO IDEA) and the dogs were really upset up the smell. We got in SO MUCH TROUBLE. The perm "straightener" ended up frying my hair too. FWIW. I am going to read more about this Keratin thing though! I appreciate you sharing.

Does the Cymbalta help with the pain? I know you aren't crazy and that tailbone pain can be horrible to deal with. I have heard that Cymbalta is difficult to wean off of once you are on it but that a lot of Drs dole it out for pain issues. Does it even work?

I"m gonna say no. I think its a BS drug and all I got was leg cramps and he's trying to tell me not from cymbalta. However being an RNY patient i am very knowledgeable of everything that goes in my body and that is they only thing that has changed. I don't see it helping at all.

Good morning everyone! Love that pen - it's beautiful. Your cats are so adorable! Yesterday was a good day finally. I ate on plan and went to the gym. Eager to take my new shoes for a run, I was only 3 intervals in when the balls of my feet were in pain and my left chin was hurting - a pain I have never felt. I also felt pain in muscles I don't normally feel. Honestly I was pretty pissed off - these were $150 shoes that I was fitted for at the running store. I though -hell yeah, these are going back. When I got home and took them off I realized I hadn't put in my orthotics and when I did, it made a HUGE difference. I will give them another chance and hope that was the only problem. I am so impressed that I can run at all, mind you I am taking it slow with intervals, but I really love it so far. Whodathunkit? Loving the audible on Intuitive eating. It makes so much sense to me and I think I finally understand the way Rob and other normies think about food (5% of the time vs my 95%). I want that - I'd kill for it at this point. I don't know if I can ever trust myself, but I'm fascinated so far.

QOTD - If it were only me, you better believe they would be perfectly nestled at all times. But Rob and Jess are the ones who put away the dishes and both are Tupperware challenged - I gave up on that crap shoot cupboard.

Good Friday morning.

I'm freezing this morning even though it's not cold.

not much planned today. My left leg is sore, a friend bought me a tens unit and it does help me relax some. I had a few calls into my doctor but they haven't returned em. My surgeon's office has me starting physical therapy Tuesday but I think I need an X-ray or something. Who am I to know? It's only my body...

qotd:we try to keep it organized but alas it's a mess.

pics are of my and the kittens.
