I don't usually bring food.

I once read a suggestion to do Atkins whenever you travel, so I try and do that to an extant.

With that said, i'm not a role model for eating habits.

In the before times, I traveled 3-4 weeks a month. Meat sticks, cheese, and protein powders are all good; you can get warm milk anywhere to have a nice protein shake...I use Fairlife at home and that's not usually an option when traveling so I go with skim. I bring my travel coffee mug and it's easy to shake things up in it.I keep some individual packets of protein powder in my computer bag but nuts, cheese and jerky/sausage are easy to find anywhere. My go to at restaurants is smallest steak or chicken breast option so usually a chicken or steak oriented salad or meat plus asparagus.

I have done a lot of research into my family. I also have Harringtons but they left Ireland a long long time ago. I am 100% European in my most recent ancestry. Almost 80% English isles. Most of that is Scottish and Iri****'s cool on the 23andme test it pinpoints the cities/regions you most likely come from. County Cork was my first Irish place and Glasgow and London were the other of the top 3.

I need to look at my Harringtons on my tree!

Some of the Harringtons in my family moved to Nevada in the 1800's to work in the silver mines.

I will post pictures of both on Friday. Of course, I got a T-shirt with a big clam on it.
