Good morning ~ I still think a dozen eggs are a bargain at $6 but I love them so much I'd pay double. Yesterday was bru-tal at work it was one thing after another and an intense 2 hour meeting I had forgotten about. I woke up around 2 am and couldn't get back to sleep. I think I finally fell asleep 2 minutes before my alarm went off. Today should be better hopefully. Monthly reports are due tomorrow and I have a chiro appt after work. I got my Birkenstock slippers and I love them.

QOTD - Yes, please tell me what the hell I was thinking when I said yes to doing 2 jobs. Do I really want the responsibility even with an amazing promotion potential? I know I need to give it more time and delegate more - but seriously ya'll - what was I thinking?

My Bubba-Gus kitty is the only cat I've ever had so I know nothing. I've been very blessed with him - he is grouchy, but never naughty. He is my heart. Not sure I could ever have another after he goes.

Ginger kitties are just about...if not...the best kind of kitties. They just have something about them that is so special.

Amy, Delegate! I say with my mom/boss voice. Pick one thing today and delegate it to someone and tell them you know they can handle this and you have faith they won't let you down. Then take a breath and wait a few more days and pick another task and DELEGATE. People will do what you ask of them when they know you are trusting them for the most part. Pick something once a week that you really don't need to be doing and delegate it.

I used this method to get everyone trained for when I left. By the time I actually retired, I could literally go in the office and just sell sh#t. Which is what made the company and me the most money. I believed they could, and they did.

It's scary to give up control, but you will feel so much better when you are able to concentrate on your big tasks.

Ok, I'm done being bossy for now. I reserve the right to return to bossy Mom if needed.
