I'm hoping to get clearance Monday for that. They sure are ugly right now...I think I'll have more scaring from the staples being in there so long.

You are itching from opiates and now the itching from healing of the scars wouldbe added. Ugh. I wouldn't want to be in your shoes. After one major surgery I had, skin -body reconstruction, I was looking forward to come home so I could take an opiate and 2 benadryls and get some sleep. The itching from healing was horrible. And the internal stitches itched inside, ugh. It lasted at least 2 months. Ugh.

QJB, you are missing out on the real joys of pilates. I know people joke about vegans and cross fitters trying to get everyone to join their cult; I want everyone to join me in the pilates cult. It's amazing!

I made a point of getting up early and going outside to see if I could see the comet but I was not successful. I have no luck with the comets; I didn't see Neowise with my naked eye either. I don't have one of those crazy cameras though -- well, technically I do but I am so bad at using it, I rarely break it out and should probably sell it or gift it to one of my nieces or nephews. Also, if you ever want to see how bad your hands shake and you don't realize it -- take a full zoom auto focus picture of a star. My travel tripod is already in the suitcase for my trip later this month; hopefully it will help when I see the northern lights.

I have done my work out, starting my second coffee, then it's shower, a couple hours of meetings and then start the travel day. Maybe something interesting will be out and about and I'll get a good picture for photo friday.

QOTD - My full liquid diet was a week of 64 oz of full sugar gatorade/day (which I do not recommend) and then I didn't really puree anything; apparently, I like things in the texture they come in, lol. Yogurt, Cottage Cheese and soft scrambled eggs were my mainstays. I miss the days where a container of yogurt or an egg could last a couple of meals.

menu today

coffee plus half and half X 3

ratio yogurt

meat stick and protein bar for the plane

I have a couple of team members coming in so may see if anyone wants to do dinner, we can walk to a place that specializes in chicken tenders from the hotel so probably that.

Oh, and I will have the biscoff cookies they give me, no doubt about that!

Have a terrific Thursday everyone!

I like pilates as an exercise! I just really dislike group classes as a rule. And I like pie & lattes better than any exercise ;)

That's funny, I hate group classes but I think of Pilates as an individual class since you don't "see" everyone when you are working out

I feel that way about yoga. Despite being in a group class you are focused on yourself, so you don't really pay attention to the other members of the class. At least I don't. I would be interested in trying out Pilates on the actual Pilates equipment. The inferno Pilates I do is really HIIT with Pilate's principles.

I know it's a misconception, but for Pilates or yoga classes I always picture these willowy, tall, skinny women doing the moves; and then I picture myself like a frog in the middle.
