No, no I don't. But that's okay because it Friyaaaaaaaay!

Man, I have been crazy busy for the last few days. School is a lot this semester. But week 2 is almost over so hopefully the rest of the semester will fly by. Today is more of the same--work work work plus prepping for tomorrow's class, then Grim and I are heading to dinner and a concert tonight :)

Pics this week are of Fezzik (looking how I feel), and my mom with the graduate last weekend.

QOTD: Would you rather have an autonomous car or drive a flying car? I'm writing a research paper on Tesla right now and learned that the flying car might be closer than I thought--they are actively working on the technology that lifts the car straight up, Jeston's style. I am more excited for the autonomous car. I officially hate driving and I'm willing to trade any risks for being driven around like the princess I am ;)

B: Protein Coffee & veggie burger

L: leftover scallops and broccoli

Good mornin QJB and everyone.

Everything was good with the tests yesterday...no bleeds or ulcers. One less thing to think about. I wasn't to worried about it but my doctor just wanted to make sure. It took six attempts with lots of digging to get my IV started. Even the anesthesiologist had a rough time. My arms are sore in those spots. The anesthesiologist was great though. I was in a lot of pain due to my back and he gave me a little bit of something to help. Super nice guy!

Wish I could say the same thing about the anesthesiologist who I see at the pain clinic! I'm not a fan of hers. She refuses to listen to me and has said on multiple occasions that I'm her "special patient". Gee whizz that made me feel warm and fuzzy lol

Not sure what all is planned for the day. I know we have the kids for a few hours. I need to go to Walmart today or tomorrow morning. Hoping to get what I need and out quickly. Next week I've got a lot of appointments. Ugh. So so tired of it all.

QOTD: I hate driving and I figure I'd hate flying one too.

B: sausage and pancake on a stick and coffee

My pics are of Percy and Mona.

I forgot to mention what my plans for the weekend. I had a crazy hair to try a teeny tiny wire gauge for one of my designs. I have to work on chainmaille this weekend.

the attached pic is 20awg stainless steel. The next try will be 22awg stainless steel wire. I might be nuts...we'll I am but I'm a glutton for punishment lol

The next one is them all together. No more of the big ones as the wire was so strong I hurt my arms making the last one. There will be more in copper though lol.

Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Came out well! The finished size isn't to much smaller than the 20 gauge but it settles so much thinner.

Wow, that's amazing! I bet they're fiddly to work with. Beautiful work, Mel.

Mel,

Next time she says "special " patient, politely interrupt her and say something like "I'm sorry, could you define special? Because the way you use that phrase makes me feel unheard and singled out. I'm hoping my medical support team and I have the same goals, so I'm wondering where you are going with this".

Many times those that have control over our needs lose sight of the fact that we are not entirely at their mercy and speaking up may help her communicate better with you.

Good luck. I hope you are feeling better soon.

One of the things I do that's so not good is just going silent. When I get treated like this I just clam up. I'm better than I used to be and I'm still working on it. It's one of my worst traits.

thank you for the reminder of this.

Love this. Those in places of power do often forget and need reminders.
